Chain has a sound that I haven't heard anywhere else. I was into hip-hop/rap
throughout the majority of high school, but after a while that genre
of music didn't apply to the way I was feeling from day to day. I discovered
Velvet Chain around the same time that my musical tastes began to branch
out, so everything pretty much fell into to place at once. Ultimately,
in my opinion, Velvet Chain's music fits everyday life no matter what
the situation happens to be.

so refreshing to hear music that isn't the cookie-cutter Top 40 stuff
that fills the airwaves today. I love how the instrumental versions
of VC songs are wonderful on their own, and Erika's voice on the vocal

I like VC because Erika's voice is very sexy and she can make it sound
soft and sweet or strong and aggressive whenever she wants, always with
great results. It also hits me the way the whole band combines its different
elements (lyrics, voice, bass, guitars, keyboard, etc.) and adds various
rhythms to every single song, making it sound like many tunes combined
to one another. Never seen or heard anything as cool as this band before.
